Stays in GP2 with Carlin and impresses on his way to fourth in the points with two wins, four podiums, two pole positions and one fastest lap. Also tests for Marussia and becomes team's official reserve driver before sealing 2013 race seat in December.
2011
Competes in both GP2 and GP2 Asia with Carlin, finishing the main series 20th in the points. Has his first F1 tests with Force India.
2010
Starts the year by finishing 18th in the points in the 2009/10 GP2 Asia Series. Contests the main GP2 Series with Ocean Racing Technology, finishing 25th with three points.
2009
Joins Carlin Racing for another season of British F3. Finishes fourth in the points with one win. At the end of the year he steps up to the GP2 Asia Series.
2008
Completes a full season of British F3 with Hitech Racing, finishing tenth with two podiums. Also comes 21st at the F3 Masters event at Zandvoort and 14th in the Macau F3 Grand Prix.
2007
Graduates to British Formula Three aged just 16. Also has one-off outings in the Le Mans Series and Star Mazda.
2006
Continues in T Cars, finishing second in the series with an impressive record of seven wins, 14 podiums and seven pole positions.
2005
Competes in T Cars, finishing eighth in the main series (with seven podiums) and third in the Autumn Trophy.
2002
Starts his motorsport career in karting.
